Ying Kwan Shing Jason is a passionate and creative fashion designer who earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from Queensland University of Technology in 2021. Over the years, he has developed a wide range of skills, including tailoring, pattern-making, virtual fashion, product management and sewing. Combined with his dedication to innovation and craftsmanship, these skills have shaped his journey in the fashion industry.
He gained hands-on experience as a design assistant at the Australian streetwear brand Figures of Speech, where he worked for a year. He further honed his expertise during an internship with the renowned London-based brand Self-Portrait. These experiences allowed him to immerse himself in the dynamic world of fashion and deepen his understanding of design and production processes.
Ying has also had the privilege of showcasing his work at prestigious events such as the Brisasia Fashion Show, Praema Fashion Show, Brisbane Factory Fashion Show and Thailand Fashion Week. These experiences have enriched his global perspective on fashion and allowed him to share his unique design vision with diverse audiences. One of his proudest achievements was winning the Champion title and the Best Visual Presentation Award at the Hong Kong Young Designers’ Competition (YDC), which validated his creative approach and artistic expression.
As the founder of Nevidebla, he is committed to redefining fashion by merging innovation and sustainability. His vision is to create designs that push boundaries, carry cultural significance, and inspire a connection to the future of fashion. Every piece he creates reflects his attention to detail, his passion for storytelling through design and his belief in a more thoughtful, sustainable approach to style.
