Doris Kath Chan is a Hong Kong–based designer and the founder of her eponymous label, DORISKATH, launched in 2014. Centred on the philosophy of “One Item, Multiple Styles”, her brand offers versatile pieces that can be styled in various ways.
Her work has been showcased at major fashion weeks in Copenhagen, London, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, capturing the attention of international buyers and audiences. DORISKATH also engages in commercial collaborations and produces bespoke evening gowns and garments for both corporate and private clients.
The brand continues to evolve: in 2021, DORISKATH collaborated with creative partners including LEGO and debuted its SS2022 collection—featuring its first menswear designs—at CENTRESTAGE Hong Kong*, and by 2023 Doris had shifted her focus towards sustainable fashion, incorporating eco-conscious and upcycled elements across her collections.
Beyond her design work, Doris contributes to the local fashion ecosystem as a member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s Fashion Advisory Committee and the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association. In 2023, DORISKATH received the Hong Kong Brand Award presented by the HKFDA. Passionate about nurturing young talent, she also teaches to inspire the next generation of designers.
