Mandy Fong graduated from the Fashion and Textile programme at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2022. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in high-end fashion and sustainable design. After graduating, she actively participated in several prestigious international competitions, including the WorldSkills Competition, The Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest (YDC), and The Redress Design Award*, achieving excellent results and gaining valuable experience. Driven by her passion for fashion, she founded her own independent designer brand, SZMAN.

Inspired by the timeless beauty and elegance of romantic aesthetics, the brand blends vintage and modern elements to create a distinctive, versatile visual language that empowers women to express their individuality.

Each piece is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, incorporating lace, hand-painting, beadwork, and patchwork to reflect each collection’s theme.
