Intro:The launch ceremony and exhibition in Hong Kong for the LOCAL POWER 2025 will be held at CENTRESTAGE Hong Kong 2025. The exhibition will showcase 35 curated pieces by renowned designers from the Greater Bay Area and Korea. This event celebrates creativity and innovation, while fostering meaningful exchange and collaboration among industry professionals and designers from both regions.

Opening Ceremony & Fashion Show in Seoul

Venue: 20 Seongsui-ro 18-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul
Intro: Experience a groundbreaking fusion of creativity from the Greater Bay Area and Korea. The event will feature 30 Greater Bay Area designers and 5 Korean designers, who will showcase digital fashion imagery created using artificial intelligence technology. There will be a special performance by Wan Pin CHU, winner of the “Best Original Film Score” at the Hong Kong Film Awards in 2025 and “Best Original Music” at the Asian Film Awards in 2025, who will play the erhu during the event. There will also be an exciting song-and-dance performance by Shownu and Hyungwon from the popular Korean boy group MONSTA X. To add further momentum, the event will present 70 exquisite fashion items, offering audiences a cross-cultural fashion extravaganza and a dual audio-visual experience.

Intro:The exhibition is meticulously curated into 3 major thematic zones, utilising AI imaging technology to present Hong Kong’s unique features. These include organised urban architecture, barber shops, teahouses, bustling streets, and the vibrant scenes of pop music culture. These evocative visual artworks, rich with Hong Kong’s cultural essence, ingeniously resonate with the avant-garde fashion creations by the Greater Bay Area and Korean designers. Together, they construct a cross-cultural visual feast, allowing audiences to immerse themselves in the distinctive charm of Hong Kong’s multicultural tapestry.
