Born and raised in Hong Kong, Hay graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Knitwear Fashion Design from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and currently works as a knitwear designer. Curious and open-minded by nature, she enjoys exploring diverse subjects, finds inspiration in the works of Haruki Murakami, and admires brands like Raf Simons and Paloma Wool.
She entered the world of knitwear design by chance, but was quickly drawn in by the medium’s creative freedom. From the development of raw materials to the final product, she finds joy in the endless possibilities — even with the same yarn, different textures, densities, and combinations can lead to entirely original pieces.
