Arto is a knitwear designer celebrated for her technical innovation and strong sense of color. She graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a degree in Fashion and Textile Design, specialising in knitwear and technology. Her collection Zero to Unlimited earned her the Champion and New Talent Award at the 2017 Hong Kong Young Fashion Designer Contest. She previously won top honors at the 2013 Hong Kong Young Knitwear Designer Contest, receiving both the Champion and Best Marketability awards.
In 2018, Arto launched her namesake label, ARTO., and was honored with the CreateSmart Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award by the Hong Kong Design Centre. Her experience includes working with the London-based brand Mira Mikati and renowned Japanese knitwear machine manufacturer Shima Seiki, building a strong foundation in both design and advanced textile technologies.
