Kev Yiu is a Hong Kong couture designer with over 15 years’ experience in creating high-end eveningwear and bridalwear. Known for his glamorous aesthetic, Kev is acclaimed for his luxurious detailing, intricate embroidery, and distinctive understanding of the female form. His designs have been praised by international luxury fashion houses, leading actresses, and celebrities.
In 2006, Kev graduated from a fashion and clothing programme in the UK with triple distinctions. After returning to Hong Kong in 2007, he launched his first couture brand, Sovereign Romance, which he continued to develop. He was named a fashion icon by JESSICA CODE magazine in both 2010 and 2014.
In 2013, the brand was officially renamed KEV YIU Couture. Following years of hard work and creative development, Kev was honoured with the “Ten Outstanding Designers” award in 2014.
In 2015, he co-founded the bridal brand KEVOLIE with renowned Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu. He continued to expand his influence in fashion, earning the “WHOW Hong Kong Craftsmanship Award” in 2016 for his dedication to design.
Since 2020, Kev has led the design and production teams at Sennet Frères alongside singer Hins Cheung, establishing the brand’s in-house atelier. Its debut collection was featured in top-tier fashion publications, affirming Kev’s creative influence.
In 2021, he released a new couture collection in collaboration with Sennet Frères and Disney, becoming the first designer in the Asia–Pacific region authorised to create and present a complete couture collection inspired by all 14 Disney princesses and queens.
